Address and ballot limitations
ZIP codes can cross precinct, legislative, city, township, school, and judicial boundaries. Address matching can narrow the research, but the result may still be incomplete when an official live ballot source is unavailable. The interface links to Kansas VoterView and county election offices for final verification.

Source records change throughout an election cycle. The site displays update or verification dates where available and removes stale, duplicate, failed, or out-of-jurisdiction imports from public pages. The structured correction form queues factual errors, missing candidates, filing-status changes, and broken sources for review.
Coverage priorities and timing
Election dates, ballot access, and time-sensitive filing changes receive priority. Federal and statewide races are built first, followed by legislative, judicial, county, city, school, and other local contests as official data becomes available. The site shows developing coverage rather than filling gaps with guesses.
Candidate-submitted information follows the same-questionnaire and verification rules for every candidate in a contest. Candidate answers remain separate from official records and independently published reporting.
Advertising separation
Advertising revenue may help operate the service, but ads do not determine candidate coverage, source selection, summaries, or prominence. Ads must remain visually separate from menus, lookup controls, candidate links, and other navigation.
